FRED GORRIE Managing Director/ Owner
Managing Director; responsible for leadership of the company and all business functions.
Owner / Managing Director of Inter-Tec Services Ltd since 1997. With over thirty five years in the aerospace industry, Fred spent the initial five years of his career at BAE Systems Warton.
He then went on to take on various Stress Engineering positions throughout the UK, Europe and Canada from 1989 to 1997, before starting Inter-Tec Services Limited in his home country, Scotland. He is responsible for all commercial, financial and business management functions.
He is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).
JOHN CURRIE
Head of the Design Organisation
Head of the Aircraft Design Organisation; responsible for overall quality of design and certification output.
Head of Design at Inter-Tec since 2010. John has over thirty years in the aerospace industry (design and manufacture) spending twenty years at BAE Systems Regional Aircraft followed by spells with Goodrich and Marshall Slingsby Advanced Composites as Design Engineering Manager.
He is responsible at Inter-Tec for technical and certification aspects of all modification work packages undertaken in accordance with terms and scope of our regulatory approvals. John also manages our design engineering team.
JOHN HASTON
Chief of the Airworthiness Function/Lead Stress Engineer
Lead Stress Engineer and Chief of the Office of Airworthiness; responsible for stress engineering output.
Head of Stress at Inter-Tec since 2005. John has over thirty five years working in the aerospace industry, including twenty years at BAE Systems Military and Regional Aircraft companies where he had a major secondment to Boeing in Seattle.
He is responsible at Inter-Tec for stress engineering output for all modification work packages undertaken in accordance with terms and scope of our regulatory approval. John is also the Chief of Airworthiness.
STEVEN MORAN
Engineering Manager
Engineering Manager and Structural Repairs CVE; responsible for engineering planning and programme co-ordination.
Steven had over 10 years cross-industry business management experience before moving into Aerospace Engineering in 2016.
Steven also acts as a senior structures engineer with Compliance Verification Engineer responsibilities across Inter-Tec’s global repair solutions customer base.
